Oh the dreaded V-day
First off I’d like to make a little shoutout to all the hopeless romantics out there, we’ll find love someday kiddos. Anywho I’ve been around the lovey dovey stuff all day and it just made me realize that it actually would be kind of nice to have a boyfriend. Trust me it takes alot for me to admitt defeat so I truely mean it but I’ve got to sort some things out first…pros & cons list perhaps? Okay lets start with cons and work our way up. Con #1 I’m going off to college next year and I want to start fresh without any crucial baggage. Con #2 My time is sorta limited. And lastly con #3 my dad prefers me to date a boy from our same nationality (Eritrean) cus “we gotta keep the blood strong” haha he doesnt really care as long as I’m happy though. MOVING ON. Pro #1 my prom date issue will be settled, pro #2 my friends will stop making fun of the fact that my younger sister has a certified hottie of a boyfriend…and I dont. And most importantly pro #3, I’ll have someone who can hopefully make me laugh while giving me butterflies at the same time. I have faith it’ll happen soon enough, just gotta play my cards right ;)
